Today was Warner's 1st day on the beach. He didn't know what to think of the sand at first and then he started eating it - it must have tasted good because he kept eating it!! WOW - it's a whole different world going to the beach with a baby in tow...you should have seen all the gear we had with us. It was a great first day on the beach!! 
Kissy, Warner, JoJo, Michelle (Chris' sister),her 4 children - Maggie, Matthew, Madison, and Mason & and I are at the beach!! We had a great first day and Warner even went under water for the first time.
On our way to the beach we stopped at Meme's for the weekend. Pat & Gibson are in Montgomery for the month of June while Pat is completing some training, so they were able to join us. My dad couldn't stand us all being together, so he drove from Dallas to come for the weekend as well. It was great to have everybody together -except for Chris who was at home working :( Pat & Gibson had not seen Warner since Christmas - he had changed quite a bit!! Mamaw & B came over for a visit too - Warner had LOTS of attention (to say the least). 
Kissy brought this to Warner today from Texas. It is the neatest thing!! He doesn't even have to wear a swim diaper under it. I thought it was so cute on him - I had to share!!
Since we are leaving for the beach this weekend, I wanted to take Warner back to the doctor just to make sure his ears are all better. If you don't remember he got very sick after his one year vaccinations - fever got up to 103 - and he had an ear infection, red throat, etc. Well, Dr. Wells said his ears look great!! YAY!! So now we are good to go. The packing is the hard part!! Who knew a 1 year old could need so much stuff just for a week???

We went to Madidi tonight to celebrate Mary Evelyn's birthday. We had a great girls night out!! 
This little man is FEARLESS!! He LOVES the water. I put him over in his float this afternoon in the big pool, and oh no, he wants out of that thing. So, I hold him and swim around and he is practically junping out of my arms - I guess he thinks he can swim!! In the baby pool he is everywhere - sticking his face in and crawling off the steps. So, we had a great idea to put floaties on his arms - the only floaties not being used were pink! He did not like them at all. He was biting them to get them off!! I have got to find something that will keep him on top of the water and keep me from having a nervous breakdown every time we go to the pool.

We took Warner to the Club this afternoon for his first experience in a real pool. He LOVED the water!! He just kicked his feet in his little float and even put his face down in the water a couple of times. He is going to LOVE the beach... 
Warner could stay outside ALL day!! He finally kinda got the hang of his "4-wheeler" today - the only problem was we were playing in the carport because of the rain and he almost took his head off with my car!!

First of all, I'd like to give a shout out to my big brother - I am so proud of you!! Thanks for serving our country!! You are truly a hero...and I love you so much!! 
We went to the lake yesterday with some friends. It was so much fun and relaxing!! Thanks Jennie and John!!!
Today Warner and I played outside and then went to a "pool party" with Jack, Katie, and Sam. Warner likes the pool a whole lot more when he has a playmate to swim with him.
