Warner & I rode back with my parents after our family reunion in Starkville the 8 plus hours to Dallas. Thank you Lord for the people who invented portable DVD players...and for Aunt B who gave Warner 2 Thomas the Train books that kept him entertained when he wasn't sleeping or watching a movie. It was a long ride...I don't know how my parents do it so often!?
The rest of the family began to arrive Tuesday...and so the fun began!! Laurel had been sick Sunday with the stomach bug that we think she may have gotten from me (I had it the week before). Wednesday morning Gibson came down with the bug, and by that night Pat had it. Friday my mom came down with it. Sunday Chris came down with it. Sunday night my dad started feeling like he was getting it...it ended up not being the stomach bug though. So...we had a very interesting week to say the least!! It really became rather humurous - who would be next?? We still managed to have a great week with family...and even throughout all the sickness, I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else!!
We attempted a picture with Santa that didn't go so well!! Laurel was fine at first...Warner wouldn't even think about sitting in his lap (we tried every bribe we could think of)....then Laurel realized maybe she should be scared too...
so we found a Christmas tree!!
Warner is in love with this little girl....he is going to be such a sweet big brother one day!
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! Let the Christmas craziness begin...
