4 months yesterday!

I LOVE this age!! I can just look at Jackson and he gives the BIGGEST smile. It took 2 nights of "crying it out" and he is sleeping 12-13 hours at night and taking 2-3 naps a day. When he is tired we put on the sleep sack (greatest thing ever), lay him in his bed (on his tummy!) and walk out..most of the time not hearing a peep out of him. He still hasn't rolled over, and honestly I don't think he will for a while. He's just so content laying on his back watching his brother...or the tv!
He just celebrated his first Christmas! He loved the lights, but I think that's about all he noticed! Warner opened all his presents so he didn't really get to experience that either...and he was taking a nap when Warner got up Christmas morning to see what Santa had left him....he's totally a second child.
I guess he was a good boy because Santa didn't forget to bring him something too.

road trip - he is a little better in the car...as long as you are in constant movement. He does not do well with stop and go, stop and go!

I think we have a thumb sucker on our hands!

He loves his big brother and watches everything he does! (Jackson is waking Warner up from a nap)

Started sitting in the exersaucer last week and loves it!

more thumb sucking

4 months doesn't seem very long, but I honestly have a hard time remembering our life without Jackson. I have loved every minute of these last four months and can't wait to watch him grow and change in the months ahead.

MERRY MERRY!!

Jackson - almost 4 months

This baby boy has been a handfull the past 2 weeks!! I had him on such a great schedule...and then we went to Disney World. Atleast I think that's what happened! Since we have been home Jackson has decided that he wants to wake up every 2 hours or less and just let us know he's here. I have tried everything!! One thing that I kept reading over and over was to start an earlier bed time to prevent night wakings...put him to bed at 6:00 a couple of nights and that did nothing. Afer a week of all this I finally got smart and decided it was time to let him cry it out. So we said bye bye to the swaddle (that way he can atleast move around a little bit) and I put him in bed last night and left the room. It was rough and I know it's going to be, but hopefully I'm doing the right thing - it worked with Warner.

Warner's Christmas Program and Party

What a cute group of 3 year olds!! They did so good in their program - "A day in the life of a preschooler." I will have to admit that when the program started my eyes filled with tears and I had to tell myself to get it together - so many emotions came over me - how is my baby old enough to be participating in a Christmas program, look how much he has learned, and how far he has come from the shy little boy that wanted his mommy to walk him in the first day of school. It was a very proud moment for me....so so proud of the little boy he has become.

breakfast with Santa

I never thought this day would come - Warner sitting on Santa's lap!! I'm happy to have this picture this year because for the next couple of years Jackson will probably be too scared to sit on his lap!

We went to the country club for breakfast with Santa and had so much fun. Santa asked Warner what he wanted for Christmas and he said, "I don't know."

DISNEY WORLD

(I'm finally getting around to posting these pictures.)

Last week (Dec 6-12) we enjoyed a wonderful vacation with Chris' family to DISNEY WORLD!! Chris' parents decided to do something different this Christmas and instead of gifts they gave us a trip to Disney. Warner loved it all, especially the roller coasters and characters...and Jackson was such a trooper (until we returned home! - more on that later). Chris & I are totally worn out!! Disney World is great, but you need a vacation when you return...it is A LOT of walking and A LOT of waiting in lines with children in arms. Here are just some of the pictures I took while we were there.

Thank you Pops and JoJo for a vacation we will never forget....Warner is already ready to go back!

10 children and 8 adults....yeah, it was as wild as it sounds
