I've been working so hard on his big boy room. I'm so excited about it!! As soon as it's all finished I'll have to post some pictures. I've had so much fun doing it - and most importantly Warner has been great! He has his little routine - read books, say his prayers, hugs & kisses - and then he's good to go. I'm so thankful for my good sleeper!!
Daddy starts to cut corn tomorrow, so we won't be seeing him as much. Harvest is an exciting time of year, but it also means very long hours!
Warner is still obsessed with trains! Yesterday morning we were over at Sam's house and Warner would not leave without 'Gordon' - one of the Thomas trains. I thought we could leave with it and then he would forget about it and I could sneak it away and give it back to Sam later in the day. Well, as I type this (a day later) he still has it in his hand. He has bathed with it, slept with it, and even puts in on the table next to him while he eats!! I will be buying Sam another 'Gordon' as soon as I find it in the store.
You are growing up too fast, and I don't like it!!! You repeat everything we say. This is scary!! Ther other night we saw some pretty scary lightening and you said, "oh gosh!" Where have you heard that?? You are a little tornado - love to explore and you are curious about everything. Many of your friends started school last week, and I can't believe that will be you next year! I just want to keep you at home with me forever. I worried and worried about the day we would take you out of your crib, and you never skipped a beat. Now getting rid of the paci will be a different story. You LOVE that thing!! What am I going to do?? I find myself carrying on a conversation with you, and I stop and think when & how did you grow up this fast. Your 2 favorite things right now are TRAINS & GOLF! You always have a train in your hand, and you are constantly telling daddy "I ready to play golf." You are growing up so fast and we are enjoying every minute of it. How did we get so lucky to have you in our life?? We are so blessed!!

I forgot to post these with the beach pictures. The first video is what Warner spent most of his time doing while we were on the beach. He would fill the dump truck with sand, then push it up and down the beach, and dump it. The waves knocked him down a couple of times - he did not care for the salt water! This $15 dump truck was worth every penny...
Pat asked me while we were in the pool if it was okay to throw Warner in the air. I told him that would be fine - then he proceeded to throw him across the pool. It didn't seem to bother Warner a bit. He loved it and was ready to do it again!
Warner overheard me last night talking to Chris about going to see Pat & Gibson next week. He went straight for the door saying "I see Pat, Isson, & Baby Jaurel." He doesn't miss a thing!!
One more funy story. On the beach one day I was laying out beside the tent and I said, "I'm burning up. I've got to get back in the shade." I didn't even know Warner was paying attention until he started at one end of the tent and went around saying, "you burnin up mommy?, you burnin up pat?, you burnin up kissy?" This went on for the next 30 minutes!!
